First experiment with HailuoAI results in fantastic but hilarious and Inappropriately cutesy results...

The very few people familiar with the novels will know that they are not intended for children but are instead written for an adult audience.

Since the tools are now readily available, I am taking very seriously the effort to produce movies based on scripts for the books. One of the best options and one of my favourites is A text to video generative AI tool called HailuoAI.

However clearly I am a novice at using this tool. I expected results somewhat in line with the kinds of still image results I have been getting from the Leonardo Generative AI system. Leonardo will also do text to video and image to video but I have had some difficulty in producing the results that I need.

Leonardo may well have improved their text to video and image to video Generative AI but I thought I would try this other system because I am testing many options. Generally, Leonardo gives me fantastic results for still images from text although they are still perhaps a little cartoonish for my needs. Here's an example of a prompt that I use for Exocetia with a Leonardo output image.

""Exocetia Trandrews" is a tattooed, cyberpunk spectral-ninja girl. She has a ninja sword on her back. She is riding a levitating snowboard in a futuristic dining hall. There is a huge gargloid angst beast monster there and she is fighting it while holding her fluffy, white, alien pet under her arm. The pet has antennae."

I lazily logged into HailuoAI and simply entered the same prompt without adjusting any of the settings which I have still not investigated yet. This over cutesy but nevertheless excellent video is the result...
